Call Me, Maybe?
The first time I set my eyes on a Rebecca Minkoff M.A.C. Clutch, I fell in love. I immediately looked up the brand and discovered Rebecca Minkoff's fun, edgy style. However, it was the quirky names of her bags that intrigued me the most, like the Morning After Bag or M.A.B. and the Morning After Clutch or M.A.C. Gorgeous bags that NEEDED to be in my closet. Pretty soon, I was well versed in her style that I was able to pick and point out Rebecca Minkoff bags whenever I went out. I was so obsessed that I was practically glued to my computer for their Black Friday sale, but eventually decided to postpone my first Rebecca Minkoff purchase.
When I heard Rebecca Minkoff was having a sample sale in L.A., I was ecstatic. I immediately scheduled it into my Google calendar and made the trek out to Confederacy in Los Feliz today. Luckily I was familiar with the area because it's right next to Umami Burger! Once I stepped into the shop I was bombarded with Rebecca Minkoff products everywhere! Clothes, shoes, wallets, bracelets, purses--the whole shabang. Obviously I gravitated towards the purse section first, multiple tables full of Rebecca Minkoff purses in all colors imaginable. Although my heart begged me to buy the M.A.C I fell in love with ages ago, my wallet knew better. Luckily for me, this decision was easier to make because they didn't have the color I wanted. Instead I settled on a bracelet, the Flower Stud Bracelet.

I love that this bracelet can work alone as a statement piece or layered with other bracelets. Although I couldn't find this particular one on their website, here are some of their current bracelets.
The bracelet also came with a mysterious card with a handsome man and on the back scribbled "Call me 646 420 1475 -Vincent." For a second I thought it was real, but then I saw on the bottom right hand corner--"www.rebeccaminkoff.com" Hilarious. E attempted to call the number, hoping to be greeted by a sexy, French accent. Sadly we were not greeted by "Vincent," instead it was a message from Rebecca Minkoff herself!
Today was only the first day of the sale and the employees were constantly bringing out new items while I was shopping. If you're a Rebecca Minkoff fan and just happen to be on the West Coast, you should definitely hit up their sample sale this weekend both in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
