2013 Resolutions
I've never been much of a new year's resolution type of person, instead I like to set goals and tasks I would like to accomplish throughout the year. So I thought I would share with you all what I plan to work on in 2013:
Consolidate & declutter. I am a notorious hoarder because I never want to part with anything because I'm afraid I'll need it in the future. This eventually leads to an overfilling closet, bookshelves, desk, cabinets, etc. Instead I want to sort everything out - get rid of the items that are of no use to me anymore and make room for the items I need.
Stop. Biting. Your. Nails. I don't remember when I first started biting my nails, but it's one nasty habit I've always had trouble shaking. The best solution I've come up with is regular manicures, but unfortunately I don't have the disposable income to visit the salon as much I'd like. However, I can try (key word being "try") to perfect a salon worthy manicure at home by doing it myself.
Be happy, be healthy. No new year's resolution list would be complete without the obligatory eat healthy/get in shape goal. I say this every year, but since I've started working from home I've been very sedentary and hardly get in any physical activity. It'll be interesting because I will have to be more creative with coming up ways to squeeze in my daily workouts. In addition to those, I want to stop being a night owl and more of early riser. Not only do I accomplish more in a day, but it's a good habit to practice since I'm not longer in college and can't sleep till noon anymore. These are just my main goals for the year, I have tons of mini ones, but I didn't want to bore you all with the details. Anyways, here's to 2013!
