It's a Pizza Pie!

Since I'm primarily located in Los Angeles now, I don't really know what the latest "hot spots" back home are. Thankfully I still have my brother to keep me in the loop on what's happening in Suburbia. The last time I was home, he was so kind to invite and treat me out to his local "spot," Pieology Pizzeria.

I've actually heard of Pieology on Yelp, but never had the opportunity to try it. Since this was his stomping ground, my brother took charge and ordered #3: BBQ sauce, chicken, mozzarella, gorgonzola, red onion, cilantro. What makes Pieology stand out from the regular pizza joints is that you can add as many extra toppings you want on your pizza for the same price, $7.50. That is a great deal. Taking advantage of the fixed price and being the meat lover he is, my brother chose to add on bacon bits and Italian sausage to our already delicious looking pizza. The pizzas are then baked for a few minutes in their oven and come out piping hot.

One look at our pizza and I was practically drooling. I love when pizzas are hot and when you see the strings of cheese as you pull the slices apart - and that's exactly how our pizza was. The toppings were delicious, while the crust was thin and crisp -  just how I like it. For less than $10, you definitely get your money's worth at Pieology. Their layout reminded of Chipotle, which I liked because it gave me the opportunity to customize my pizza as it was being made right in front of me.

Pieology, I never thought I would say this about a pizza place, but I'm in love and I shall be back.
