Who Run the World? GIRLS.

I love Girls. Just to clarify, I'm talking about the HBO show. I will admit that I was on the fence at the beginning, but I have grown to love it - scratch that, I'm obsessed. Part of my obsession with the show stems from a quote that Lena Dunham's character, Hannah Horvath, said in the pilot, "I think I may be the voice of my generation..." and the more I watch the show, the more I believe it. As a twentysomething myself, I can relate to some of the issues Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna face on a daily basis. However, it was a quote from Marnie (Allison Williams) in their season two trailer that really hit home for me because I've literally said these words multiple times before:

"I don't even know what I want. Sometimes I just wish someone would tell me, like, this is how the rest of your life should look..." -Marnie

Wow. This only made me love the show even more. Part of what makes Girls so likable is how raw and real the content is and I for one am thrilled for the new season and can not wait to see what Lena and Co. has in store for us.Btw, I already watched the first episode last night and trust me, it's good.
